You can't win every battle, and that is okay
Learn to bounce back from failure and let it go.
Hello friend, how are you doing?
Welcome to yet another edition of this newsletter.
To be very honest, I think I’m at my lowest I’ve felt in a while. Not mentally, but energetically.
If you read last newsletter edition, I moved to a new apartment and still settling down.
I haven’t rested since this month started. The one day I took off from work to move my apartment, I dived straight into work as it was in middle of the week. And the impact of not resting hit me hard. I felt irritated, stressed, anxious, annoyed, and hungry. I was deeply stressed for no reason at all!
It turned out, I suck at time management. I wasn’t even reading or watching TV, I was just stressed. I am not working out since last 20 days, missing out on my outdoor walks, writing, and what not.
Now I am taking the entire weekend off (how it supposed to be) and planning to binge watch some interesting stuff. Do share your movie or TV shows recommendation in comments.
I’m sure it’ll slowly get better, and I’ll make it a point to rest more. 🤞
Lessons are everywhere even when you are at your lowest
If you’re looking for a lesson, here’s this:
Some battles in life are harder than others. But the best news is you don’t have to win them all to emerge victorious in the war. As long as you don’t give up on yourself and your ultimate goal, a few setbacks along the way are okay.
You’re meant to lose some challenges, and that’s alright. Where would the fun be if you became successful in everything you attempted?
“Sometimes you need to hide away from the rest of the world. And it's okay to do that. Just as long as you know the world is waiting for you when you're done.” - TJ Klune
Maybe it’s okay how little daily stress matters because what doesn’t matter five years from now shouldn’t be worth your stress anyway. Maybe it’ll make you take bold decisions because what is the point of our existence if we’re not making the most of it, right?
There are people who live and there are people who make the most of their life. In whatever life throws at you, try to choose the latter.
That’s all for today. I’ll see you again next week.
I create this newsletter for you every week with lots of love. If you’d like to read more, here’s a link to download my free e-book.
