These 7 Daily Habits Helped Me Become Incredibly Healthy
It can help you to get closer to your fitter body.
Hi There!
How are you? I had a good week, finally.
To be honest, my imagination about things going wrong makes me anxious, whereas things around me *touchwood* are going well!
I have been working on a personal project for the last one month and I am glad that it’s turning out alright. You will be first to know for sure.
Stay Tuned :)
I felt anxious some days and let my fear take it over and what if I don’t balance it out well. If you have anxiety and get easily distracted, definitely you are not alone.
Here are a few daily routine I started to follow and I am absolutely sure it will help you as well to stay on track and not go crazy.
These 7 Daily Habits Helped Me Become Incredibly Healthy
1- Morning Routine
I wake up and think I’m so grateful to sleep well and safe and wake up in good health. Waking up to gratitude is an instant mood booster and pumps happy hormones. I have also been writing a gratitude journal as a morning practice.
First thing, start waking up at the same time every day including weekends (yes, you read it right). We tend to break our routine on weekends and struggle to get back on it on weekdays.
It’s difficult for sure initially but after a few weeks, you can definitely start waking up a bit earlier than your usual time.
2- Drink Water
I know drinking water seems like what the heck it is. However, hear me out. Drinking enough water really makes a difference in your body and mind. If you’re feeling lazy, lethargic, low, go and drink a cold glass of water.
Simple tip is, keep a recyclable, reusable water bottle with you wherever you’re in your house. Try to keep a goal to drink a minimum 2 liters of water every single day and it has zero calories too. So you don’t need to watch your weight scale.
There are apps available to track your daily water intake.
3- Workout- 3x per week
Add a 30 minutes work out schedule in your daily routine in the morning or evening or whenever you see fit. Nevertheless, make sure you’re doing it. There are many free apps available to keep a track or join an online community to get inspiration and motivation to stick to your workouts.

4. Adequate Rest
As I gradually developed a healthier relationship with food and got to listen to my body with frequent meditation, I’m now aware of when my body needs rest and I respect that.
If that means to workout only 3 times a week, I don't push my body further.
Respect your body and let it rest when you feel it.
5. Being Mindful of My Energy
Everything has energy. What you speak and think has energy. I consciously practice regulating my energy by trying to think, watch, and speak positively.
I don’t indulge in negative content online and try to speak and think well about situations, people, and most importantly — myself.
The most beautiful benefit of this has been eliminating negative self-talk. It let go of my self-doubt and skyrocketed my confidence.
6- Get Some Sun
I am sure many of you would relate, we are mostly glued to our couches, computer or laptop screen. Get yourself away from the couch. Just go for a little walk around your apartment, nearby park and feel the sun and wind. It will definitely brighten your day and mood.
7- Limit Screen Time
We all live in FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) and keep checking our phone or just scrolling Facebook, Instagram or any other social media without actually paying attention. I muted all unnecessary notifications on my phone and laptop. This way I won’t get distracted while doing your office or personal work.
I uninstalled apps that I haven’t used in the last 60 days. If you still can’t limit screen time, use lock apps options in your phone and iPad. It will lock your apps after a certain time of usage and won’t allow you to access it further.
Lastly
To be healthy is to feel your best mentally and physically. It’s not about getting abs or being in a particular shape, but about staying safe from so many illnesses and diseases that you could otherwise get.
And you can do it too because it's the mild changes that help us make massive shifts towards a healthier lifestyle.
Even if you think of practicing one out of these seven things, I applaud you for getting a step closer towards your healthier self.
