Hello my lovely friends-
How are you? I have been pretty occupied with many things lately and on top of it I am moving my apartment next month.
Today I want to talk to you about something I haven’t spoken about before -fear.
If you have moved recently you can relate how tedious it can become physically and mentally. I have been living in my current place for more than a year and kind of made my home. I found myself in a fear and how many levels things can go wrong and many what ifs…
I was stressing out so much about everything and everything felt like a big responsibility I’d never taken before.
I was afraid of putting myself in the arena because of fear of failure, uncertainty, judgment, criticism, or a rejection. And this fear took a full control of me for a while and spent endless hours procrastinating other important stuff.
So I took a little break to declutter everything and now after a few days, I feel so light and I’m breathing better.
So IDK who needs to hear this but your energy matters. The universe will give you back what you put out.
Many of you go through life without realizing you are living in fear. That’s because fear is often confused with comfort – we become comfortable with our lives, and we think that we are happy and fulfilled.
Living in a state of fear has never helped anyone solve their problems. It’s time to take ownership of your emotions and transform your life.
What’s the best way to deal with fear?
You must learn to dance with it. You will realize most fear just lie in your head and reality is always much better than your fearful thoughts.
You have more control over your life than you think.
I won’t fluff you with self-help but I want you to believe that you can completely change your life by just doing.
Knowing things is never enough, doing is.
I ran my first 5K last weekend:
Before every run I had fear- fear of failure. But during my guided runs, I learned one important thing “Don’t let fear control the outcome”.
Such a cliched advice, right? But you know, it works every damn time.
Do you want to train with me?
Leave a comment or reply to this email. I will send an invite.
Your Exercise for This Week:
So, you take a minute today or this week and think- what is the one thing you most fear about and actually do it.
If you are scared of public speaking, record a video and upload on a social media platform.
If you never lift a dumbbell, start training.
If you want to get that dream job, start applying.
Share in comments what you come up with.
That’s it for today. I hope you all have a lovely week ahead.
Love,
Ankita
