Hello beautiful humans,
How are you all doing? I hope you enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend and you are all charged up to end this year on a positive and happier note. I am happy and more happy because it’s Rajma in lunch today 😉
Last weekend, I got a chance to spend time with an incredible family who welcomed me with their whole heart and warmth. I am going to cherish the time spent for many many years to come.😊
Isn’t strange to realize that how human connection works.
The potential of feeling understood and united through human connection is one of the most rewarding elements in life. It has the power to deepen the moment and the bond between people, inspire change and build trust.
I love those connections that make this big old world feel like a little village.—Gina Bellman
What I learned over the last weekend is:
When I am surrounded with similar mind-like people, I am able to connect with my deep self more authentically and without being overly self-critical.
I am a person who procrastinates whenever anything goes wrong and over analyzes everything.
As I have started reflecting back on this year I realized — I have developed empathy, resilience, and connected with my emotional state way better than before.
It also helped me to connect and understand other people around me better.
"There is no path to happiness; happiness is the path." —Buddha
📚Book I am currently reading:
One of my friends gifted me this book recently and it was in my reading list for months👇:
Practicing Mindfulness: 75 Essential Meditations to Reduce Stress, Improve Mental Health, and Find Peace in the Everyday
so far I have read 20 pages and this book taught me that nothing in history was ever done by being fearful and safe.
All great things required battling fears and taking the courageous step, something that fulfils your purpose and serves others.
This book motivating me to carry on doing what I do regardless of any bumps I may experience.
