Hi everyone,
How is your Tuesday coming along?
Writing is a creative process. Sometimes words flow and sometimes it doesn’t.
Even If you know what you want to write but you lack motivation to sit and type the words.
For sure, you need a bit of patience to write articles, especially if you have to do research. It can easily make writing a daunting process.
I have been through days when I lack motivation to write. With time I tried experimenting a few things to see what works and what doesn’t.
“Odd how the creative power at once brings the whole universe to order.” ―Virginia Woolf
Below are a few things that I tried in the last few months to keep my motivation going.
#1 Read articles from your favorite writer, author
Reading another writer’s work will intentionally help you get different perspective.
A big part of reading other writers work is to learn and refining what you want to do is deciding what you don’t like.
Take note of what loses your attention, and also what keeps it.
#2 Change your writing space
Find another corner, space to write in your house or outside.
Go to a coffee shop, park, or library to sit and write. Write amazing stories because that's where the magic is.
It can definitely give you a creative space to write.
#3 Build your tribe
This will help you attract the right opportunities as well.
Building a tribe online can give you a big advantage and you can choose to connect and engage with other people.
Choose people who want to win and grow together.
#4 Be authentic
When everyone is trying to be the same, be yourself and use your authentic voice to write and share.
Be you. Learn from others, but don’t blindly follow anybody.
Just like productivity strategies, learn from all and streamline what works for you.
Share in comments if it’s helpful.
