Lesson 40: The Most Important Aspect of Side-Hustle I Learned In Last One Year
Steal them all
Hello my beautiful people-
Hope this week is going good.
Here I am with yet another lesson in the Side-Hustle series.
Those of you who don’t know or new here, can read all of them here:
Let’s dive into today’s lesson…
There are several important aspects of a side hustle I have shared over the last one year, but perhaps the most important one is to identify a unique value proposition for yourself.
A side hustle is essentially is a business in making, and like any business, it needs to provide value to its customers or clients.
Without a unique value proposition, it will be difficult to attract and retain customers, and the side hustle may not be profitable.
To develop a unique value proposition, you should consider the following:
1/ Identify your expertise:
Look for areas where there is demand but not enough supply.
This could be a product or service that is not readily available, or an existing product or service that you can offer at a lower price or with a unique twist.
2/ Identify your strengths:
Consider your skills, knowledge, and experience.
What are you good at?
What do you enjoy doing?
How can you leverage your strengths to provide value to your customers?
3/ Research on what successful people are doing:
Look at what your competitors are offering and how they are marketing themselves.
Identify their strengths and weaknesses, and see how you can differentiate yourself from them.
4/ Doing a test drive:
Before investing a lot of time and money into your side hustle, test your idea to see if there is a market for it.
You could create a minimum viable product (MVP) or offer your services to friends and family to get feedback.
5/ Learn to continuously improve:
Once you have launched your side hustle, continuously seek feedback from your customers and make improvements to your product or service.
This will help you stay relevant and improve your skills.
Ultimately, having a unique value proposition for yourself is essential for the success of a side hustle.
It sets you apart from the competition and provides a compelling reason for customers to choose your product or service.
Lastly,
Just listen to yourself.
It helps me rationalize, see repetitive patterns in my behavior, and to help you course-correct them.
I learned that we are not afraid of the world but with our own selves.
Sometimes you never know why you do or say certain things; it may be because subconsciously we all are wired in a certain way.
It will come to you only when you reconnect with yourself.
Listen deeply to your inner self, and it will let you know what truly matters to you.
If you are at crossroads or going through anxiety, sit in silence for 10 minutes, breathe deeply, and use an app like Headspace or Calm to learn guided meditation.
Be Bold
Be Courageous
Be Your Best
That’s all for today. Share this newsletter with your friends and anybody you feel would enjoy it.
