Lesson 29: The Real Secret Why You *Need* To Start A Side-Hustle
You don’t need to die building your empire.
“I want to be successful”
“I want to be rich.”
“I want to buy *this* thing one day.”
Hello friend!
How many times have you said these to yourself and to people around you?
It’s deep rooted to all of us subconsciously.
When life starts to take over, you have less and less time but more and more desire to live a life you love.
If only you could do more in less time.
Starting a side-hustle never been this easy before
What is hard is finding the time, motivation, resources, and courage to make a go of it.
And to take the first step.
I have been writing online with smaller write ups and articles.
But there are things I wish someone told me the real secret of becoming a part-time creator.
The curated way to make a success
I’ve been trying to master a creator’s routine for a while.
I’ve tried writing down my schedule for each day and week.
I’ve tried to write in the night or late evening but by that time I am exhausted from doing anything.
None of it works for me.
What actually works:
Try things and see what fits and what doesn’t.
Mix it up a bit to do experiments and see where you land.
How do you keep creating?
That’s the question I ask myself often.
What has to be true for me to never want to stop writing?
The answer I always get is to have fun and I should be enjoying the process of creating.
That’s where you need to build a system so strong even when you don’t feel like creating something you are actually doing something.
Like reading, meeting new people, gaining perspectives on things that matter to you.
When you switch to this mind-set, you will enjoy them so much and you never want to stop.
Look from a different angle
If you continue reminding yourself about what you dislike about your job, or the work your currently doing, you are only going to get further hating it.
Instead ask these questions to yourself:
Why am I staying in this job?
Is my career growth getting stagnant?
Do I really need to deal with this nonsense?
Is it enough to live a sustainable life?
The answers will usually give you the pretty good insight.
It may be because you feel stuck in some way.
As much as you hate working, you hate the idea of not working even more.
Or is it fear of failure or rejection.
Lastly,
It may not turn your life up side down but by committing to making these small changes in your mindset and action, you will find yourself turning hate back into love and contentment.
Think about it.
