My number 1 tip to help you become an idea machine
It's simple and if followed, it can turn into something bigger.
Some of the best content ideas come from your own life as a creative entrepreneur.
Good ideas do not – for the most part – come from inside someone’s head.
Instead, they come from outside – specifically from a social interaction and having conversation with people.
So want a great idea? Then go to a coffee house and talk with someone.
They make you unique, authentic, and leave you stand out from the crowd.
“It is a gift when someone can challenge you and open your mind to new ideas.” —Terri Irwin
So, go out and start living.
A few options:
Go for a walk
Start with a hobby
Take "that" trip you always dream of
Share your aspiration in public
Say yes to things you're afraid of
Shadow your dream job for a week or so
Learn something cool and exciting
Document your life experiences.
Journal your major events in your life that you can remember.
The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and learn to dance.
Use this simple format to document your life journey
As we grow older, we tend to forget things and miss out on many things.
Start with date and year
Every life event have a couple of sentences as a headline
Describe the event as best as you can in third line
If you are doing online journal, can you add pictures, or your photo library link.
Add this event to any future or past event if it’s related.
The goal is to capture 3-5 major life events per year.
To make great ideas a reality, we must act, experiment, fail, adapt, and learn on a daily basis. —Jocelyn K. Glei
Your exercise for this week:
Go create a timeline of your personal life.
Add 5 dot points tp describe each life event.
And whenever you want to share that particular life event to your audience, you already have a massive content to begin with.
That’s how you create a system to find infinite ideas on auto-pilot.
Well- this story comes from the timeline of my life I created.
Let me explain what it is so you can create your own and make finding content ideas effortless.
