Hard Work Isn’t the Key to Success
Let me tell you why and what you can do instead
Hello there,
I spent last weekend thinking and reading. I write about becoming successful and you have all the power to change your life.
It’s not because I am highly successful or something or decoded everything about life. No, I haven’t and I am far away from reaching my goals.
In last one year of my writing:
This is the first bold step I took to share my vulnerability and experiences
It took me closer to myself
It improved my beliefs on many things like mind set, manifesting, law of attraction, power of habits, and many more
Getting uncomfortable with comfort
Life is a Picture, But You Live in a Pixel.
Your assumption that your future would be vibrant and rich if you achieve x things or reach to y level or earn some more $$$$.
Becoming successful at any costs slowly infects your life by working too much.
There’s always pending work, new product release that needs to get out the door.
There’s always more to do and work never sleeps.
If you can’t move quickly you end up getting left out from peers. Before you know it, you’re working long hours to prove you’re better than everyone else.
And so it’s so easy to fall into the “work hard” trap.
Just because you earn good money from a job it doesn’t actually mean you are successful.
You’re probably making more money than you truly need anyway, but the society makes you chase the next big thing. And next big thing has no end.
The Fundamental Mindset Shift You Must Make
Privilege makes you think you know everything. Wisdom reminds you that you know nothing. When you know nothing, anything is possible. - ——Tim Denning
The first step is to learn these concepts like lifestyle design — building your own model — or even simpler strategies that you can follow such as simply finding better employment, saving your money, and putting it into the market.
You won’t spend a few years of your life figuring this out, but you’ll spend the rest of your life suffering from the consequences of not learning how to do this.
It may not be appealing to all of you but it’s exactly some of you need. And you are the one I’m writing for.
My Final Words to You
Stick with the process. Don’t jump from shiny object to shiny object. You’ll have less stress.
I write to you every week in with a hope that one out of you will take action. Not get inspired, but execute.
And be true to yourself. Be honest with yourself, get to know yourself better, and make better decisions. Every single decision you make is impacting your future.
I don’t think words do justice to what I’m saying.
But all I’m saying is, to attract, become.
And to be there, fix parts of you.
And to do that, understand parts of you.
Does that make sense? I’ll end this here.
That’s all for now. I will see you next week.
Until then, take care and have a lovely weekend.
Let me know how you found this newsletter, I am slightly nervous to send out today’s edition.
