I have documented my lesson learned from 2021, hope it helps you to find you own way. Read below ⬇️
In summary, 2021 was very challenging and difficult for me personally and professionally yet most satisfying as compare to last few years.
Earlier this year, I read an article about how we should make life a series of ‘experiments’. Be detached from outcomes, and have the spirit of every action to be just an experiment - either it works out or it doesn’t.
This helped me gain the one thing I was lacking - courage.
Here are a series of experiments I conducted last year:
Write what makes me feel vulnerable
Started a new job to explore more options
Launch an e-book
Reconnected with old friends on deeper level
Started this weekly newsletter to share my random life updates
803 miles - Walk + Run in 2021
I’ve been scared before trying each one of them. Every single act had a high propensity of not working out (still does!).
But thinking of it as an 'experiment' instead of a monumental decision made it easier. Consider trying any of this in 2022? So what if it doesn't work out, it's just an experiment.
Maybe it will 😉 You'll only know if you try.
