Here's a situation that happened recently to me.
I was inspired and motivated to give my all to achieve a certain goal when this year started.
I worked tirelessly for days, spending 100s of hours to prepare myself, perfecting everything I needed to say or do.
I woke up in the morning, nailed everything I needed to do in my day.
I am absolutely sure I am there.
I am there at my goal post.
And suddenly, I am not.
You are far far away from it.
Question everything:
It made me question everything I knew or learned along the way.
This is not supposed to happen.
I had everything marked carefully with proper timelines, colour coded notes, spreadsheets, and what not.
You wake up on time, nail your morning routine, and charge forward into the unknown of your day with confidence.
You're in the flow. Then, suddenly, you aren't.
You're not sure why, but your motivation and inspiration runs its course.
Things become very, very difficult.
You don’t feel like yourself.
So what went wrong?
I need to dig deeper because I need answers.
I have to find the answers.
I took a step back to see if that is something I still want.
Change the direction but stay in the game
You are here to play the long game.
Building a sustainable life and the life you love takes time.
In between you will hit the road block.
I have been writing online since January 2021. It started as a fun hobby and still is.
It’s a gradual process and writing consistently week after week and so far I published 424 articles on Medium.
I haven’t done any marketing of my content or writing on trending topics to gain traction.
But still, it helped me to create a personal brand on the internet.
This is something I never thought of it, but it’s a byproduct of writing online.
I hope this encourages you to make that shift to help you reach new horizons.
Take care.
And, I’ll see you next week.
Love,
Ankita
